Purpose The candidate would work in the Sterile and Final packaging area over-seeing the day to day running and maintenance of highly automated equipment sets.
Ideal candidate will be responsible for performing support functions for Sterile & Final Production Unit, including troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and performing and documenting machine maintenance and calibration procedures.
Expectation is that ideal candidate would partner with engineering in developing methods and procedures to control or modify manufacturing processes.
Ideal candidate should have minimum 5 + years working experience within an industrial setting.
Responsibilities  Train and provide technical support or direction to product builders and junior technicians.
ESD Test Methods & Troubleshooting skill.
Completion of Preventative Maintenance Routines and recording of all work orders in plant CMMS.
Continuous improvement of all types of mechanical and electrical systems, to achieve maximum availability and equipment reliability, in a regulated Medical Device facility.
Ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out in compliance to relevant SOP's and GMP requirements.
Update and maintain all maintenance records in an organised and efficient manner.
Provision of technical support and troubleshooting on automated controls, electrical equipment and mechanical systems.
Work within a team to commission and validate new and existing equipment including acceptance trials, setup, debugging etc Participate fully in training and development in cross-skilling and other job-related competencies.
Participate in Task Based Risk Assessments on building maintenance tasks.
Work in compliance with the site Safe Systems of Work including permitting, LOTO, isolations and safety documentation review.
Work Collaboratively with Operations, Quality, EHS and other departments.
Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time   Requirements.
Engineering Level 7 and 5 years of related work experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Self-motivated to seek out opportunities to improve process performance.
Automation experience Communicates well with peers about issues/problems that arise.
Good computer skills and systems knowledge.
