You can help us to achieve our mission !Now, we have more than team members in nearly 50 countries, in sectors such as aeronautics, automotive, communications, energy, life sciences, software & internet, space & defense and consumer products We are looking for a Junior Signalling Software Engineer r to join our team in LisbonProfile:• Design, configure and Verify Signalling SW Data for Interlocking and other subsystems, for which you will receive adequate specific training• Carry out design developments for traffic control and management systems in railway signalling;• Design and implement CTC system functions to meet the customer requirements• Prepare and review Software Specifications• Work closely with Thales internationally to tailor solutions and ensure implementation of our systems according to national regulations• Develop and propose innovative solutions to meet customer requirements in relevant areas• Experience with the methodologies for analysis and specifying systems• Ability to work proactively within a team environment.
ualifications:• Electrotechnical Engineering Degree or Equivalent• Desired knowledge in Computer networking configuration (IP and ISDN)• Operating systems.
Linux, Windows and VMS (a plus)• Virtualization systems.
VMware and vSphere• Oracle Database Systems• SW development skills (C/C++/Python/Shell Scripting)Desired Knowledge of Petri net/PLC/Ladder LogicDesired experience in railway systems development• Knowledge of relevant tools, methods and methodology• Fluency in Portuguese and English, both orally and in writingWhat we offer.
