Team Overview.

That platform plays a pivotal role in streamlining our innovation and operations, and we’re seeking an experienced IT Release Manager to lead and optimize its monthly agile release cycle.
Role Summary.
The IT Release Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of feature releases with Configuration, Customization and Development across our strategic ServiceNow platform.
This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage release processes, and act as a bridge between technical teams, testing, and operations.
Additionally, they will serve as a PTO proxy for our global IT Operations Manager.
Responsibilities.
Release Management.
Coordinate and Schedule Releases.
Own the end-to-end release management lifecycle.
Schedule, coordinate, and manage releases across the platform for multiple applications within various portfolios.
Application Updates and Enhancements.
Manage releases inclusive of application updates, change requests, projects, and programs.
Deployment Support.
Provide services and processes to assist and project and technical teams in deploying releases into production.
Traceability and Auditing.
Ensure that application releases are traceable, auditable, and that only authorized and verified versions are deployed.
Process Adherence.
Implement and Manage Release Processes.
Establish and maintain release processes for customization, configuration and code through development, test, and production environments.
Collaboration.
Work closely with developers, testers, and IT management to improve our development and configuration lifecycle.
IT Release Calendar.
Build and maintain the IT Release Calendar, collaborating with teams from different workstreams to centralize the view of all releases.
Risk Management and Reporting.
Risk Identification and Mitigation.
Manage risks and resolve issues that impact release scope, schedule, and quality.
Progress Monitoring.
Measure and monitor progress to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of application releases.
Reporting.
Provide regular reporting and updates to IT management.
PTO Proxy Responsibilities.
Global IT Operations Support.
Act as a proxy for our global IT Operations Manager during their absence, to drive internal and external platform support teams for solving long running and critical incidents and service requests.
Continuity.
Ensure seamless continuity of critical IT operations during the manager’s PTO.
Qualifications.
Experience.
Proven experience as an IT Release Manager, preferably in a large-scale, global environment.
Technical Knowledge.
Familiarity with ServiceNow, or at least similar ITSM and Agile Management platforms.
Communication Skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Collaboration.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Problem-Solving.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Certifications.
Relevant certifications (e.
., ITIL, Agile) are a plus.
