We are seeking a talented experienced Team Lead or Technical Manager to pave the way towards revolutionizing how we leverage data and Machine Learning! We leverage Kubernetes and a variety of open source software (e.
.
Kubeflow Seldon Istio MLflow) to train and deploy over one hundred models serving a billion requests per day.
What youll do.
Build and lead a highperforming technical team by hiring training and mentoring engineers of all levels Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture Lead the team and development of scalable and efficient machine learning platform products and infrastructure from ideation to completion.
Develop project plans timelines budgets and resource allocation strategies and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
Collaborate with data science and product engineering leads on crossfunctional teams across the globe to ensure product development aligns with business goals Define and enforce engineering best practices to ensure deliverables are complete on time and meeting a highquality standard.
Stay uptodate with the latest ML platform technologies and trends to identify opportunities for product innovation and cost savings.
Communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals commitments and timelines Skills & Experience.
You have a BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent 9 years of experience of commercial software development 3 years leading and / or managing others Experience managing remote teams across different time zones is a plus Demonstrated excellence participating on cross functional teams in fastpaced environments both in terms of technical leadership and handson coding.
Excellent ability to break down complex problems into simple solutions Willingness and ability to take on new technologies.
Strong analytical skills and desire to write clean correct and efficient code.
Sense of ownership urgency and pride in your work.
Proven that you are a leader who prioritizes communicates clearly and partners effectively with both technical and nontechnical employees.
Excellent command of tools and expertise for troubleshooting production issues.
Experience with Python Docker Kubernetes Kubeflow Seldon Spark and AWS / Azure cloud service experience is a plus.
Exposure to Machine Learning practices and platforms Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
