Job Description Develop and implement strategies for the timely collection of outstanding debts.
Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate action.
Manage a team of collections specialists, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
Review and assess collection policies and procedures, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
Negotiate payment plans with delinquent customers and handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints.
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve customer issues and improve collection processes.
Prepare regular reports on collection activities, including accounts receivable aging, collection trends, and team performance.
Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices in collections management.
Qualifications Proven experience in collections management, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of collection laws, regulations, and procedures.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance.
