BUSINESS ANALYST (DV CLEARED)

Position Description.
Business Analyst CGI are currently looking for a Business Analyst with higher level clearance to come and join our Secure Innovation & Advisory team which is part of CGI’s Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit.
The area is focused primarily on the delivery of contemporary and innovative technical solutions for the government agencies most challenging problems.
Our teams work alongside our clients to help them understand how to exploit technologies to maintain competitive advantage.

Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Engage with client stakeholders and SMEs to understand the business need.
This will likely be in the form of analysing and elaborating client epics • Translate the needs of the business into requirements either as a catalogue or user stories (client dependant) • Engage with technical and test teams to ensure functionality is implemented correctly and to ensure appropriate test coverage • Maintain and enhance own knowledge of our business operations and those of key partners, in conjunction with an understanding of strategic developments in technology, to identify and exploit opportunities to deliver value through investment in technically enabled capabilities Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
•Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to facilitate and lead workshops to ensure a robust understanding of business needs and priorities within the project.
•Ability to manage stakeholders and ensure clear client requirements are drawn-out, prioritised and clearly defined/understood by the client and development team.
•Documentation – methods and techniques for writing effective business reports and specifications.
•Experience of Agile software development (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, etc Working pattern.

We would expect our members to be in their local office as and when required.
